Once you've completed ALL enrollment activities (listed above), you will begin participating in the study:
- Daily Question: Emailed every morning at 7AM with a single question asking how you’re feeling.
- Weekly Surveys: Emailed every week and also available on your Study Dashboard to help us monitor your IBD-related symptoms and severity.
- Every month, our partners at ExamOne will call you to schedule your mobile phlebotomist visit (a phlebotomist is someone who is qualified to draw your blood)
- If you have not heard from ExamOne, please give them a call them: 1-888-302-7652
- Every two weeks, please complete your IBDoc stool tests in the CalApp
- you’ll need to download the IBDoc CalApp (available in Apple Store and Google Play)
- Use your IBDoc account login you created after completing your Baseline survey
- 24 hours before your your phlebotomist visit - complete your first monthly sample collections using the same stool
- Kit #1 OMNImet GUT Stool Kit
- Kit #2 OMNIgene GUT Stool Kit
- Kit #3 FecesContain-3
- Kit #4 OMNIgene ORAL Saliva Collection Kit
- Complete 1 of the 2 IBDoc stool tests in the CalApp
After you complete your sample collection, store the FecesContain-3 Kit in the freezer, and the remaining kits should be kept at room temperature.
*Please Note: If not all activities listed above are not completed within 4 weeks of being eligible to participate in the study, participants are required to return the provided Fitbit device. An email will be sent to you with the shipping instructions and label.
