Every month throughout the study, our partners at ExamOne will call you to schedule your phlebotomist visit (a phlebotomist is someone who is qualified to draw your blood).
- Schedule Appointment: ExamOne will call you to ask about your availability for an at-home blood draw with a phlebotomist in your area. They will call you at the phone number you provided.
- Receive blood draw kit: Once your appointment is scheduled and confirmed, ExamOne will mail you a blood draw kit to use when the phlebotomist arrives at your home. The kit will be mailed out approximately 1 week before your appointment.
- Store your kit: Please do not open the kit until your appointment. Store the kit in a place that is temperature controlled, like indoors in a cabinet or closet (not on top of heater or window). The kit should not be exposed to warm temperatures. If your kit is accidentally exposed to warm temperatures or you have not received your kit within 2 days of your appointment, please contact Evidation Studies at (415) 707-7799 to let us know.
- Rescheduling an Appointment: If you need to reschedule a blood draw appointment, please try to do so with at least 24-hours notice. To reschedule your appointment call ExamOne at 1-888-302-7652. If you are having trouble scheduling or rescheduling your appointment through ExamOne, please contact Evidation Studies at (415) 707-7799.
